The Elephant: DVD I, II, IIIIn the year 2007, in collaboration with the Slovene children’s magazines Cicido and Ciciban, we have released the first Elephant DVD that contains eight short animated films with the line for the conversation with the children. This was a novelty in the Slovenian territory, and a good public response has contributed to the foundation of the second and third edition. The Elephant DVDs are the gift supplement of Slovene children’s magazines Cicido and Ciciban.The Colourful Elephant: DVDAssociation for Reanimation of Storytelling 2 Reels has released its first solo DVD The Colourful Elephant. This is the collection of the 10 of best and award-winning short animated films for children and youth, that 2 Reels Association has chosen for them from it’s The Elephant: Children’s and Youth Programme at the Animateka 2008 International Animated Film Festival. Now you can find in one place, gathered all together, top-most animated films: My Happy End; Shoe; Early or Late (best film according to the audience); HuHu Pole Hole; Aston’s Stones; Big Plans; Big Ambitions; Refrigerator; KJFG No. 5, and best animated film at the Animateka 2008, according to the children’s jury, Little Vasilisa. Each film offers the line for conversation with the child, a starting point that guides the child to think about the topics seen. The DVD also contains three additional short animated films, which were made by the children at the animated film workshops organized by The Elephant: Educational Programme. The Colourful Elephant: DVD is accompanied by The Elephant: Anthology 2008, where you can find additional starting points for the conversation with the child, after seeing the movie. |
